For this year’s Kips Bay Decorator Show House, 22 designers have transformed more than 26,000 square feet at 457 Madison Avenue, the northernmost section of the Villard Houses and the former home of the Urban Center.
In Juan Montoya’s room, big, bold pieces: a 16-foot double-sided faux astrakhan sofa, and a basalt table by Byung Hoon Choi that weighs 3,000 pounds.
